Incorporated in 1970, Asia Fiber Public Company Limited (AFC) is, today, Thailand’s leading manufacturer of high quality nylon-6 products. Originally a Thai-Taiwanese joint venture, AFC started production in 1972 with promotion privileges from the Board of Investment (BOI). Asia Fiber Public Co.,Ltd. is one of the leading manufacturer of nylon-6 products in Thailand. Our product lines include nylon-6 chips(resin, pellet), nylon filament yarn(POY, FDY, FOY), nylon textured yarn(DTY, ATY) and nylon taffeta fabric. In addition, we have our own dyeing and finishing facilities as well. With a 33,000 sq.m. modern factory complex located in the Bangpoo Industrial Estate, 33.5 Km.south east of Bangkok, and awork force of 1,300 working three shifts around the clock. AFC's vertically integrated processes have a daily capacity of * 47 tons of nylon chips, * 33 tons of filament, * 14 tons of textured yarn and * 100,000 yards of woven fabric. Inspections are done at each intermediate step to screen out defective materials from the final processes. Finished products are also sample-checked using high technology test equipments and procedures, while Q&D department is continuously endeavoring to improve and maintain process controls for a higher overall quality level.
